Cornwall
There’s nowhere quite like the Cornish coast, one of my favourite parts of the UK to explore at summertime. Stay at Three Mile Beach with a group of friends, or The Pig at Harlyn Bay if you’re heading on a romantic break. Spread your days surfing and driving along the coastline, exploring the cute towns of Penzance, Mousehole and St Ives, before enjoying dinner at Portminster Cafe. You’ll find me in floaty linen dresses during the day and laidback loungewear come evening.
Cotswolds
My favourite part of the UK for a countryside break, the Cotswolds is easily one of the prettiest areas to explore. Known for its rolling hills and quaint villages, it’s the perfect escape for a summer getaway. Stay at Thyme, and go for walks through Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water before feasting at The Bell Inn. I’d pack pretty daytime dresses and basket bags for stocking up on souvenirs.
Lake District
One of the most dramatic and scenic parts of the UK, the Lake District is great for exploring on a road trip or hiking holiday. I would book a staycation at Rothay Manor, and explore the cute village of Cartmel (the home of sticky toffee pudding!) - if you’re looking to go all out, book a Michelin-starred meal at L’Enclume. The weather at the Lakes is always a bit hit and miss, so make sure to dress for all seasons! I’d wear a casual but chic denim set for the daytime - and add a light jacket in case it’s raining!
City Break
I’m heading to Amsterdam later this year, one of my favourite European cities for a city break. My plans include staying at The Hoxton, going for brunch at Toki, and dinner at Jansz. For days spent exploring the city, I’ll opt for a more minimal look (but in standout colour!) paired with comfy sandals that are good for cycling (my favourite way to act like the locals!).
European Beach Break
Escaping for some European sunshine is high on my agenda for the summer - I’m considering either Menorca Experimental or OKU Ibiza. For lazy days on the beach, I’d opt for brightly coloured swimwear and elevated day dresses, followed by a snazzy night time look to glam up in the evenings.
