Tell us a little about your trip
Ibiza is the perfect island for an early summer getaway that guarantees great weather, culture, shopping and chic hospitality - the perfect source of inspiration before kicking off the 2026 summer season. We stayed at Can Domo Ibiza for a long weekend, a simple and pure experience. Think: White sand beaches, unique coves and crystal clear waters.
How did you curate your ‘slow-paced weekend’ in Ibiza?
At times, people tend to have a limited view of Ibiza for its big club nights and San Antonio reputation (Final Boss of Ibiza, anyone?). There’s definitely a place and time for that if you wish, which is great if things get too slow-paced for your liking.
For me, I enjoy long lunches at beach restaurants such as Jondal, El Carmen, Experimental and Es Fumeral. Evenings were spent shopping and casual dining in the old town of Ibiza and Santa Gertrudis (which is Ibiza’s answer to Notting Hill), and of course, the agrotourism hotel, which we stayed at, Can Domo Ibiza.

I began reading “Your Baby Week by Week” which really got me thinking… This island is bliss, my life is changing, and I can see myself coming back here with a young family and baby!

Can Domo Ibiza have the best playlist for background music at breakfast and lunch. I was constantly Shazaming, and I even joked with my husband that I came to Ibiza for a fresh playlist. This song was a particular standout: Kamakumba - Mop Mop
